Ingredients:

  • 1/2 onion, diced

  • 200 g firm tofu

  • 1 tsp curry powder

  • 1 tsp ground turmeric

  • 60 ml coconut milk

  • 1/2 tsp Kala Namak salt (Black salt)

  • A pinch of pepper

  • Dried herbs to taste (e.g., parsley, chives)


Instructions:

  1. Boil the half onion in water until softened.

  2. Crumble the firm tofu directly into the pan with your hands and fry until golden brown.

  3. Add curry powder and ground turmeric to the pan and toast briefly.

  4. Pour in the coconut milk and add the remaining spices (Kala Namak salt, pepper, dried herbs).

  5. Mix everything well and simmer over low heat until the liquid is reduced and a creamy consistency is achieved.

  6. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve.
